Jannette has FINALLY finished a report that took more than two weeks to get sorted. This was not because it was difficult, it was because of me. I felt MONUMENTALLY uninspired to do this particular report, and consequently nothing flowed. Now I am a patient kind of girl. I have learnt to be this. BUT two weeks of patience is kinda stretching even my heroine-like fortitude. However, with my philosophy of not expending energy unneccessarily (are there really that many doubles in that word?) and swimming against the current, I chucked out the oars and floated. Was a little disconcerting, but it has worked out well.

So yesterday morning, I laid it all out. I got my lovely child organised and bless him many thousand times, he just got into what he was playing and I got....wait for it....three hours straight of 'at home' work time, with a four year old boy around. Yes, I am a blessed person. No doubt about it. :) 

The report got half done by about 4pm that day. Last night, I polished it off, sent it off, and did various 'woo hoo! like' victory dances in my home office. Never before has such a simple accomplishment left me feeling so, ...very accomplished. :)
