Tough weekend

So I have a new found appreciation for moms! This weekend was rough... My baby wanted to be comforted all night long! He doesn't cry much but when he does - it's like firetrucks honking in my back yard!!! I felt like i was feeding him constantly (every 3 hrs) but it takes him so long to eat that by the time each feeding is over it's about time to start his next feeding! I wanted to buy a few gifts this weekend - that didn't happen... I only got a few 20 min blocks here and there on my computer so that i can do work.... but i must say - i still love this part of my life! :)

  • I remember those days...sometimes when one feeding extends into another it means a growth spurt coming on. That doesn't help you sleep, but it might help you cope. :)

  • You are in such a sweet spot, don't get frustrated that you can't finish your work, or go shopping. Your baby will grow in a flash. The work will always be there, but not that sweet tiny baby.
