Will I ever sleep late again?

In the last 16 months, the latest I have slept in the morning is 7am - and I'm not sure that counts because I'm fairly certain that I woke up at least two other times during the night before that! Granted, I'm a light sleeper, so i'm at a bit of a disadvantage there, but seriously, when do the teenage years come, when do they start not wanting to get out of bed, instead of wanting you to come to their rescue ASAP once they've awoken?
Let me also say that I consider myself lucky. My son has been sleeping through the night (at first it was 11pm-6am) since about 5 months old. Generally speaking, we put him to bed at 7:30pm, and we don't hear from him again until at least 6am. And that's great, really! My husband and I can enjoy a few hours of peace before we go to bed, have a relaxing meal, and prepare for the next day all before we go to bed. But still, I used to sleep until 10am on the weekends, wake up, watch some cooking shows on PBS, and maybe start my day around 1pm. Now i get up anywhere between 6 and 6:30am, read August a book (loves books!), give him some milk, feed him breakfast, maybe squeeze in some coffee, and change his diaper all before 8am! Crazy! It's really quite funny walking through the streets of San Francisco at 7am knowing that if you see anyone else on the street, they are either homeless or parents. Although, on the flip side we never wait in line for brunch on the weekends, we get most of our errands done super early in the day, and we get to see the sun rise almost every morning. But i'll be honest, i'd give up all of that no problem for one morning of sleeping in. My husband has often gotten August up to try to give me the opportunity to sleep in, but when you live in a 1,000 sq two bedroom it's pretty difficult to sleep in.
Well, I guess for now I'll just keep waiting until those teenage years come....here's hoping one morning I won't see that sun rise.
