wow, hard to believe that 2010 is almost over!! where has the time gone? its been a good year, full of blessings & special memories i will never forget! let's see where to begin....

the most important thing that has happened to me & brandon this year was the birth of our daughter, dakota renee wakefield, on may 13 2010 @ 3:05pm! i know every mama will say this, but she was the MOST BEAUTIFUL baby i had ever seen!! its hard to put into words exactly how i felt the moment i saw her, held her, kissed her cheek. being a mommy is the most challenging yet best job in the world!! yes there are days when i wanna pull my hair out because i feel like my to-do list is never-ending or because dakota just wants to be a brat... but when i take a deep breath & look @ her, it makes all the stress worth it!

i got a job promotion about 3 weeks ago.... more like a blessing in disguise! i was hired as the receptionist @ city hall 2 years ago & now i am a billing clerk for the water dept. granted the raise isnt HUGE, but in this day in age, every little bit helps!

well i guess thats the major highlights of this year. i will be posting more blogs as i think of things to write about!
