I love Christmas, I really do. I spend weeks planning and trying to find the best presents for each of my kids. Considering I have five children having a visit from Santa is quite an ordeal. There is the presents, the wrapping, the tree, the decor, the opening of the presents and then my least favorite...the MESS!! Mind you I also have to get five wee ones fast asleep because Santa and Mrs. Clause worked all week and then went "shopping" on Christmas day and now have to finish wrapping everything on X-mas eve while people who are suppossed to be sleeping are too excited to and keep coming out asking if it's morning yet!

Then on Christmas morning when I have had maybe 4 hours of much needed shut eye the wee angels decide that five am is the perfect time to rise and ask Mom inccessantly if they can NOW open their presents. Needless to say I have determined that as a working Mom sleep is no longer something you can fit into your schedule.

At the end of the day they got their presents, they were thrilled, no one realized Mommy was exhuasted and I decided to leave the mess for the next day. First Christmas as a full time working Mom turned out pretty successful, now onto the New Year.
