You're absolutely right, of course. However, nowadays, I just can't seem to find 10 minutes without something going on or even when I do, my mind just even in it. Maybe it's got more to do with setting than anything else right now. At this point, I'm seriously considering activating the speech tool on MS Word and dictating whatever comes into my mind. I've never used it and don't know how it'd do, but if it can get me out of this rut...I'm willing to try.

I really want to get back into writing, for a variety of reasons. I got into it as kind of a carthesis for dealing my parents' illnesses and subsequent deaths. Found I liked doing it 'cause it really made me stretch my imagination. Add to the fact, doing the research for some of the stuff has taken me places I NEVER thought I'd ever be - like touring 2 nuclear submarines - becoming friends with the living actors from the old show. (One of them my family has "adopted" as a pseudo-grandfather cause he literally has no family left and he's 75+).

I swear, I'm going to take some time to myself and go rent a room at the Beach for about 3 or 4 days. Hubby can fend for himself, as can daughter. I just need the scenery to get me back into the mood. If I stay home, there's too much to do here and the writing won't get done.
