Trying to balance
I am still in my jammies scouring for sources for an overdue article. Ah, the life of a freelance writer! Hubby has taken the boys to work to help me out, but my ever-present companion is guilt when this happens. I want to enjoy their day off with them, but may not be able to.

Last week my husband came home early to get our daughter from school and hang out with her so I could get more done since I was behind. I felt guilty but then they came home, both all smiles (and traces of ice cream on my daughter's clothes:) -- and I realized they needed their time too.
