Where Would I Live?

Amsterdam. No, not because of the "cafes." Because it's the first and only place, so far, where I've walked down the street and people automatically assume I'm from that country (until I open my mouth and they discover that I don't speak Dutch). You wouldn't think it, but "multiethnic" is very much the norm in that city.

Amsterdam is a wonderful city, very cosmopolitan, with a citylife/culture very different also from any US city I've seen so far (and I've seen quite a few).
I'd probably be your neighbor in another EU capital city: Paris.
