Cheerios by the truckload

Do you have a toddler? If so, you're probably like me: you go through Cheerios by the truckload. I'm thinking it would be efficient to just keep an open trough of Cheerios in the kitchen, from which we -- my daughter, the dogs, and myself -- could just snack from all day. My daughter loves them. The dogs love them and it would save them a lot of pathetic watching, waiting, sneaking, and opportunistic pouncing if we just gave everyone -- canines and people alike -- open season on the snacks. And as for myself, sadly I have taken to snacking on and even lunching on Cheerios. With milk it's lunch. Without milk it's a crunchy snack. Hey, it's just easier to eat what your child eats. Is this the beginning of the slippery slope I've heard of, whereby the whole family is eating waffles 24/7 by the time the kid is five??!!
