Trying to enjoy a weekend away... while totally sick

OK, total vent here, but I'll keep it short --

My husband and I have planned to go away this weekend to NYC, after I was here for a conference during the week. My parents are kind enough to take care of our daughter so it's just us.

Which would be awesome, except I am totally and utterly and really sick. (My daughter was really sick last week... thank you daycare!) We're trying to make the best of it, but boy, I am totally bummed out....

OK, vent over -- I hope you're all enjoying your weekends!

Thank you guys -- the herbal wellness thingy combined with extra vitamin c and lots of tylenol is preventing a complete breakdown, but otherwise, not ideal. I hope your weekends are better!

Oh nooooo! I was hoping your herbal wellness support with extra eye of newt would've kicked it for you. Hopefully you got to enjoy at least a LITTLE quality time....
