So I've been promising to all my family members, including my parents and in-laws, that I will print pictures of our son. My husband has been on my case for months now. I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to do it. I really need help. I have a ton of pics and I really don't have time to go through every single one and pick the best ones, put them on a CD and take them to a photo shop. Oh, and did i mention that i have to put them all in an album??? Is there an easier way to do it? I just don't have the patience or time to do this project and I feel really guilty not doing it.

  • Kodakgallery.com does all that

  • I would agree with Jen, Snapfish is pretty good. My brother & his wife, were married in Prague and they used Snapfish for the wedding pictures that they sent out. It was beautiful. The quality of the pics were great as well.

  • I gave up doing things for family and just started a google album. They can pick and choose what they like and print it to shutterfly. They/you can also make books on shutterfly. Make one book- print many copies (saves papercuts and scrapbooking gear) Another thing I do is make a yearly calendar on shutterfly and order like 10 copies. Picasa is a nice tool to help you dig through all 40 million digital photos. I wrote about how to make your own google album and use picasa here:

  • Yes - i use ofoto.com (same as kodakgallery). I'm just not crazy about the quality of prints.... Do you like the prints you get from other sites?

  • I love making albums with Snapfish. I upload my pictures, pick an album, pick the order I want them in, can add captions or titles. You preview the album and pay. They usually have discounts for multiple albums. So last year that's what I did for mother's day. Had 3 albums made. Let me know if you need any help. I've also had albums done with Shutterfly. I usually just go with whoever has the best deal at the time.

  • Or flickr! And with flickr you can also have them print to a Target near you. But it still requires that you pick through, upload etc.

Or you can upload to flickr and set the permissions such that anyone who is friend or family can print them on their own.

  • yeah the online sites like snapfis, and yorkphoto, and clark, and one other one I think gives you free prints like 20 to 30 to start and if you refer someone then you can also get free pics for them signing. If you are interested let me know and I can refer you and get free prints.

  • Hi! Have you ever used any of the online servies out there? I use Kodakgallery.com. You can upload all of your digital photos right from home, and then share the album with your friends and family via email -- and then they can choose which photos they want to purchase!

I think Snapfish does something similar...

If you do find time to figure out which 10 or 20 shots you like best, you can create a photo album right from KodakGallery or Snapfish, and they'll print them and mail them out for you -- you'll have to pay for shipping to each address, of course, but the time savings are more than worth it!
