Changes on the horizon

Okay, so I started a podcast - and then dropped it five episodes in. My husband took a job up North between episodes 2&3, so that increased my workload at home and then I got sick and it was hard to keep up with anythng at all.

It was then I really started thinking about working from home full time again. Ditch the dayjob and come back to doing things that I'm really excited about and that give me warm fuzzies in return for the headaches  So I quit my job.

In just over 5 weeks, I will walk away from radio and return to the craziness of writing, marketing and publicity under my own banner...

Ah the freedom and insanity of jumping without a safety net!

  • Great move - we owe it to ourselves to try something new, something we are passionate about! Go for it!!!

  • Hi Patrysha,

If we were close friends, I'd say "you are nuts" -- "the good kind of nuts". Since we are not that close, I'd say: make it a fun jump!

    Enjoy,
    Lorena.

  • wow! congratulations on making that tough decision!! sometimes it's good to at least try something new - even if it only solidifies the 'nope, i really dont want to do this' and allows you to move on with a clear mind :) GOOD LUCK!
