Sewage and bathrooms . . .

We´re building a house. Well, the house is built, but the bathroom is in progress and we just discovered that the first builder (fired due to incompetence) messed up the measurements and we are actually below street level. So now we have to either build the bathroom VERY high (3-4 steps) and not have a kitchen sink, or figure out another solution. I´m so frustrated right now. All I want is a house. With a bathroom. That´s it. It´s not a lot to ask. At least I don´t think so!
