As many of you know we bought a pass for the zoo this year and have used it a ton of times.  My 21 month old loves the animals and it is only a 15 mintue drive from our house (not far)

Anyway, I thought I had my Saturday planned (clean, do some housework, go shopping for a new laptop and relax)

Well my little princess woke up this morning and asked her daddy to "go see the animals" followed by the word PlEEEEEZ Needless to say I am sitting here getting ready for another trip to the zoo.

So there goes my plans and we will now be spending Saturday with bears, and tigers and elephants since that is all she likes to visit.

At least the weather should be nice

  • I love the zoo...we can get a bit laxy @ our house and not go too often. My DH used to live in Kenya as a boy and is the BEST at spotting all the hidden animals. Anyone else love that kids give us an excuse to play again?!?

  • Since she is already such a zoo animal lover, take a close-up / quality photo of a bear, elephant and tiger. Frame and display them in her room! I have a small photo collage (eagle, monkey and bear) in Aidan's room that I did when he was 2yrs old. Now he's 6 and it's inexpensive decor that he won't outgrow for a long time. Plus a nice little memory keepsake of his favorite animals from his first zoo experience!
