I've been home with a sick baby and husband (as well as being sick myself) for the past five days. I have a major case of the Sunday night blues, because I am still weak and dizzy from this stomach bug that I caught from my daughter, but know that because I missed 2.5 workdays last week, I cannot miss a second of this week. I have piles of stuff to do and am not looking forward to a second of it! Plus I'm pretty miserable about my baby being sick all the time. They say the first year in daycare is the roughest, in terms of sickness, and I sure hope that's true, because it's been awful since she started in October. Blah blah blah. : (

  • Totally know how you feel -- this is our dd's first year in daycare and it's brutal. Hang in there!

  • I really do hear and feel your pain. I sympathize deeply. Here's my hand; take a deep breath and hold on! And let us know when things are better. - Paula.

  • Tell me about it. Got a note from the daycare on Fri that hand foot and mouth disease was going around! Greeat when my kid crawls around on the floor. Not to worry, just a virus with painful sores in the mouth! I feel like I am the LEAST neurotic about kid illnesses of the moms I know, but this one did freak me out. Hang in there - they say it's either the 1st yr of daycare or kindergarten!
