Decision day off
I think I need a day off. And when I say "day off," I'm not talking about the kind of day off where I still have to diagram every move that everyone in the house will need to make or plan every morsel that my picky eater of a son might want to eat. No, on this day off I wouldn't even begin to worry about whether or not my family is eating, because some higher power would be taking care of all those details.
That's right, I'm talking about a day off from all the little pesky decisions that come with motherhood. I wouldn't even mind if I had to do things on my day off, like laundry or dishes, as long as I didn't have to actually decide that those things need to be done (because someone else will decide this for me). And by the way, in this scenario, I wouldn't have to decide that I'm not deciding, because someone else has already made that decision too. That, my friends, would be a glorious day.
