Up at 4:45 to make it to fitness boot camp. Driving over feels wrong, but I don't have time to bike. It's cold and windy and all of the muscles in my body already hurt. I stuff a nutrition bar in my face, sip some water, some ibuprofen (really sore muscles!) and head over to the park. Brutal drills..more parts hurt..head home sweaty. Offer my high school son a ride as I pass by his bus stop, but I'm too early (and I'm very sweaty, so I think I embarrassed him). At home I hang out with my first grader for a bit--we have breakfast together, then I go shower and change for work. Dad gets him to the busstop while I get ready. I'm searching for close that don't require much bending. Can't find a muu-muu. Pack the ibuprofen to take in to work. Conference call, conference call, email, email..made some good progress on two big projects..have to cut out of work at 2:30 for an appointment--okay so it's to get a haircut, but don't tell anyone at work. Hustle Kristen through the appointment because it's little league tonight and I need to leave the salon by 4:30 so that I can pick up my son, get him changed, feed him something and get him to the baseball field by 5PM. Made it by 5:15, but forgot to put my winter coat in the car. The ball field is by the ocean, and the wind is howling. I need a hat and gloves and my winter coat. Rats! Cheer appropriately, hustle home to make dinner. Feed, clean up, hose off kids, pack em into bed. I want to start painting my walls, but it's after 9 and I'm too tired.
