The last few summers my husband and I have spent trying to get back on our feet...ugh! But this summer we are more determined than ever to just have FUN! This past 4th of July my mom, dad, cousins, aunt and uncle went to a theme park called Lake Winnie in  Chattanooga, TN. This park has rides, games, food, and the best of all Funnel Cake...yes funnel cake!

 

Well, my daughter who is 4 years old has never been somewhere like this and let me tell you she had a great great great time! She wanted to get on every ride that was higher and higher, faster and faster. She is a pretty happy kid, but I have never ever been this happy! I enjoyed watching her giggle, smile, and even be surprise! It was great! My son who really spent most of his time in a carriage had a good time eating and watching all of us just be excited. Every now and then we would let him out to run around and play through the "water mist". He was just happy cause we were all happy! I even had a chance to bond with my aunt uncle, mom, dad, and younger cousins. It was just all around great family bonding and we all had such a great time!

 

We have some more activities scheduled for this summer and I truly can't wait! :) Look for more blogs and my Family Summer...this is what we're all calling PTGM Summer-Portorreal, Torres, Groomes, and Melero Summer- :)-
