yesterday i went on the tour of the hospital where I will be delivering my child....total freak show... so many things to think about... nice delivery rooms but post delivery rooms are terrible.... share with another mother and her child and the room is so small... limited visiting hours... ugh... just need to suck it up and hope for an easy delivery!

  • Thanks ladies... that's exactly what i'm focusing on - just having a healthy kid and an easy delivery (whatever that means)! :)

  • Hi there - I was in a shared room when I had my son - keep the curtains drawn! I got walked in on twice while nursing! Otherwise it was fine, although small. You're so happy with your newborn, it doesn't matter...and you're out of there quick - it goes really fast..just enjoy! and congrats!

  • That does kind of suck about having to share the room. BUT the good news is, you're only in that bad-boy for like 24-48 hours, no worries!

  • You won't even notice when you've got that precious bundle by your side. Honestly, and it's for such a short amount of time. If all is well you can always go home (with PLENTY OF PADS AND THOSE MESH PANTIES) and have a nurse visit the next day. Or, bring a bottle of champagne, share it with your suite mate and stay in touch, celebrating every year. You'll do great!
