On the Today show, a Bruce Springsteen performance!  I don't often listen to Springsteen these days, but back in the day I was a fanatical Bruce fan.  Don't tell my mother, but I camped out in line for tickets, thumbed to shows (ok, it was a looong time ago, and yes, i did the same for dead shows).  I have occasionally scheduled a business trip around a concert, truth be told.  Hearing his music this morning made me smile-it's so much a part of my teens and early twenties.  My roommates and I were famous for  blasting springsteen, sinatra and elvis at all hours.  We had a huge collection of bootleg music (remember that--Trading cassette tapes of bad quality recordings?). 

Now, listening to Bruce, I suddenly feel like I should be drinking beer from a plastic cup and dancing myself hot and sweating in a dive bar at the shore..

 I gotta download a few more bruce songs!!!!!!
