What are the odds?

A funny little story to share. My 8 year-old son was playing with a small radio last night, when he announced he wanted to hear the song "ABC" by the Jackson 5. He's heard it a number of times, and just was in the mood to hear it. Now, we all know that even for a song that's currently out, much less a song that's 38 years old, the likelihood of turning on the radio and hearing a favored song right then and there is...well...not gonna happen, right? So as he was turning the tuner dial, he came across a frequency that was in the middle of playing another 70's song, so I told him to leave it on that station and we could see if his song comes on, although we told him it was HIGHLY unlikely.
You guessed it. The next song? "ABC."
My husband and I started whooping and laughing in disbelief and looking at our son, who had this precious smile on his face. You know the one I'm talking about? That look of childhood innocence, that suggested that maybe he had a little more faith than his parents that his song would come on the radio.
I should go play the lottery or something. - Paula.
