Earlier this week, I found 2 new messages on classmates.com. One from June and the other from August. Would you believe that my best friend Karen from the 1st grade actually found me?!?!

I was and am stilled too thrilled...I can't believe it. I obviously never took that site too seriously, but someone actually found me.

It's funny because I've been spending so much time reading novels about moms, and watching the Sex and the City movie again so I can bask in the delight of true friendship and how important girlfriends are.

I just saw The Family that Preys at the movie theater and loved the story about 2 best friends. And I'm re-reading The Secret Life of Bees so I can get that warm, fuzzy feeling before I join my book club at the movies to see it on film on Saturday.

Life is funny.....You pray long and hard enough and you actually do get what you want. Thank God for granting me my prayers and listening to me when I tell him what I really need....FRIENDS!
