So glad I made it home for Halloween

I've been traveling a lot during this month and there was an outside chance that I wouldn't make it home for Halloween today -- but I did:) We carved our first ever pumpkin -- can you believe it's the first time ever? -- and my daughter was completely enthralled with the candle lighting it from the inside.

She is now asleep, as her body processes the crazy amount of sugar she consumed, and I am here, trying to work, and getting quite distracted with consuming the rest of the sugar.

Ahhh... Tootsie Rolls!

  • You know....we parents just have to check the Halloween candy so that we know what they've got, don't you? LOL. Uh, I got dibs on the chocolate good stuff. Besides, all that sugar rots their teeth. That's what we used to tell her
