So glad I made it home for Halloween

I've been traveling a lot during this month and there was an outside chance that I wouldn't make it home for Halloween today -- but I did:) We carved our first ever pumpkin -- can you believe it's the first time ever? -- and my daughter was completely enthralled with the candle lighting it from the inside.

She is now asleep, as her body processes the crazy amount of sugar she consumed, and I am here, trying to work, and getting quite distracted with consuming the rest of the sugar.

Ahhh... Tootsie Rolls!

You know....we parents just have to check the Halloween candy so that we know what they've got, don't you? LOL. Uh, I got dibs on the chocolate good stuff. Besides, all that sugar rots their teeth. That's what we used to tell her
