Working from home sounds so romantic. Lots of time with the husband the kids, you can take your time to get to your office, you can work in your pajamas - no one will know but you. And it is great to work from home - whether it be one day a week or every day.
But In order to be successful as either an employer who offers telecommuting as a benefit or as an employee who works from home you need to know some the realities involved. Take it from one who's been there - working from home is great...but it takes planning.
