Ok, what does that mean. It really is much like the "Bat Signal". When I say, "Don't make me go Puerto Rican on you!" it is a little hint that I am about to be upset and it might get a wee bit fanatical. So how did the phrase come to be? That's easy to answer. I was raised in a family of five kids, a total WASP dad and a total Puerto Rican mother. When she was at the end of her rope with 5 wild kids, she would start yelling and talking very fast in Spanish. We all would take cover and wait to see when it was safe to come out of hiding. So now among friends and family, when I get a little fired about something they say "Watch out Jenny's goin' Puerto Rican!"
