Happy New Year to all the great moms here at Work It, Mom. We all made it through another holiday season, boy this was a tough one too. Despite the economy, my small online retail business actually did better this holiday season than it did last year. I'm still trying to reach what I would be happy calling real "success". However, keeping any business open during these challenging times is an accomplishment. So take a deep breath and hold on, this crazy rollercoaster we're all on has a way to go before it starts to slow down.

I'm also turning 40 this year. Will this year be a milestone in my life, where my professional goals start to materialize and change finally happens, taking a turn for the better FOR ONCE?!?!

As long as I never lose the one thing that has kept me going 23 years since breaking my neck...hope.
