I'm reading all the time - as a writer and book reviewer it's part of my job. I'm on a self-imposed maternity leave right now so I started a book blog www.roughingitinthebooks.com. I'm also particpating in Canada Reads where 5 Canadian novels are chosen and debated on CBC. My favourite so far has been The Outlander by Gil Adamson but I'm currently reading Mercy Among the Children by David Adams Richards and it is quite good too. Next is The Book of Negros by Lawrence Hill (published in the U.S. as Someone Knows My Name) which is supposed to be staggeringly beautiful and I am excited to read it.
