The last great book I read was An Unquiet Mind, which is a book on bipolar disorder.  I have not been officially diagnosed with bipolar disorder but I was diagnosed with 'Mood disorder, not otherwise specified' and have been searching for answers.  This book really helped me relate to my problems and see myself as a productive person in society who just happens to have some problems.  It provided clarity and a sense of belonging, knowing that I was not alone.  I also have suffered from severe recurrent depression, including severe postpartum depression, and was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

  • Hi,

I am pretty much into Self-Helps and the like. The last one I read is The Power Is within You by Louise Hay and am very interested in trying out some of the stuff she talks about in it....(like Affirmations etc)

By the way, I think all of us some degree of personality disorder...I am sure you will be just fine...FIGHT ON. Come to think of it , this great book by Louise Hay may also be a great help...See if you can get it from Amazon or a store near you....

    Loads of Love
