A new begining for me

Wow I finally did it! Yes I am patting myself on the back a little here!
All the fear kept me back for awhile, but I have reached the tipping point, the point of not fearing it any longer! I open The Unexpected path Your Child Is Walking in January of this year(2009) . http://theunexpectedpath.com
I even got so gutsy as to enter into a contest of new start up businesses at: http://www.startupnation.com/leading-moms-2009/contestant/5489/index.php the exciting part is that I entered just a couple of weeks ago, and this morning the vote count had reached 169!!! I am so excited. The voting goes on until the end of this month!
This is exclusive service to parents who have a child that is addicted to drugs or alcohol. My work is to help lessen their suffering through coaching. There is a real need to address the mothers and fathers fears and anguish. It is next to impossible for a parent to continue parenting effectively the other children, or to have healthly relationships with other family members when they are stricken with the fear and grief that can consume these parents and create long term stress. The entire family can come un-balanced and unglued when the parents are not effectively supported. I know first hand, and that is why I decided to put my efforts here, because when I was going through it, there wasn't any effective support for me. There is a level guilt and shame, wondering and wishing perhaps they could of or should of done things differently, yet there is no going back to fix something, and many parents get caught in that shame ridden prison of crap.
I love what I am doing today, and I guess I could go on and on about it, but this is a blog here, and shorter is better I have heard:-) Today is a great day!
