My husband asked me to go for a walk or to the store this afternoon. He said he and our daughter needed time to make my Mother's Day gift.

So I went for a great hour walk in perfect May weather, with a light breeze and pretty flowers and trees blooming all around. When I came back home, I heard my husband and my daughter quietly talking in her room, busy with whatever fun craft project they came up with. Then she opened the door, just a crack, looked at me with those big, bright eyes, and told me firmly to not even think about going in there because they were making something ultra special.

I walked to the kitchen to get some water and had this really awesome, warm feeling in my stomach.

 

I have no idea what they were making for me, but I love it already.
