I have no idea how it happened or even when, but I recently realized aside from my mother I have no female friends. I had tons of friends in high school and even a few after graduation, but now Nada. I am sadden and ashamed by this fact but have no clue how to fix it. I work with 5 other people and only go out if I am shopping and or dining with my family. Where exactly do you meet friends these days and how??? I am at a loss and I feel lost and kinda lonely if I am honest. 27 without one single person I can call or write to just to talk I mean really talk. I am pathetic right??

  • It's not hard to understand..your a wife and Mother to two small children and work. You have a busy, full life with I doubt alot of extra time. I'm glad that you do find time to spend with your birth family..that is important and shows that you are a good caring person.
You'll find a friend....just start a friendship with someone you'd like to do things with..i.e. - go shopping with, to the movies, if they have children to take the children on a outing.
Don't feel anything bad.....even maybe a computer friend would make you feel better and that you would have someone to talk to. Hugs....don't worry. You can e-mail me if you want.
