Rain in Vegas
Most people would think that rain is just normal. Yes that is true...but it hardly ever....really it really never rains in Vegas. Yesterday it rained...it was on the news...didn't see any where we live ...not a drop. But showed it raining down the strip...most people didn't mind....its unusual for us.
Today I might...just might be able to see rain outside were I live...I have heard Thunder this morning. Yes we hardly ever hear thunder or see lightening. Once in awhile we get a really good rain. But not always a good thing in Vegas...Vegas is not like back east...they are not rain drains for all the streets. Things are inproving now....but still more work they need to do.
About 6 years ago had a really hard rain...was out in the car...thankfully it was a Bronco...and high enough to get though the water without getting stuck or flooding out the car. We made it home safe and sound but it was scarey. I don't like to drive in the rain...a few reasons...too much traffic...too many people don't know how to be a good driver....and people who grew-up in Vegas...don't know how to "drive in the rain".
So yes...I am hoping for some rain today....wouldn't have to water the grass....that would be a good thing. Pray for rain for me, ok
