Media Marketing Tip

I am hoping to pass on a quick tip for those who desire to get their names/businesses out there. I was on a local TV station last week - promoting my business!! I have found that this is a WONDERFUL form of marketing, and actually, it was VERY easy! And, I also realized that it can be SUPER easy to get in contact with some TV reporters, especially those in more local markets. Most local TV anchors have their email addresses posted on the station's website. Just wanted to encourage all of you who are interested in Media marketing, to contact your local reporter and SELL YOURSELF! It could very well be one of the best things you have ever done for your business. Remember - each one of us has a story to tell!!!

Thanks for posting about how easy it was to get on TV. Everyone talks about how much it increases your traffic and sales when you are on TV, but it seems like such a hard task. I think we all have an outdated image in our mind of how hard it is. From what I have read, it is much, much easier than it used to be because of cable and all the channels we now have.
I hadn't realized that their emails are usually posted on their website. Good tip to remember!
