First days of school

I did not cry on her first day, but saw several moms crying. For me it is taking a while to sink in what changes are up for us. As I emailed her first day picture to my colleagues, one replied saying “Hang on, cause before you know it ...she'll be graduating high school like mine this year!”

For me, the misty eyes is mainly for the art work which she brings home from day care.. which is basically loads of color on a canvas with her hand prints all over it.. needless to mention on her clothes nad hair! But its adorable!
