I am having fun arranging a (rather last minute) party.  I managed to get hold of a 5l keg of beer from Paulaner, and will keep it as a surprise for Erich  :-)  He'll love it.  I just hope the guys share nicely.  I've got snacks, salads, "mains" and dessert all prioritised (what I haven't delegated, that is... Yes!  I delegated!!) I will have most of them done today, with just the greens and fresh tomatoes to do tomorrow. I'll have 16 people coming over and I plan on kicking back and relaxing - which I know I can because my wonderful cousin will be there, and she's studing to teach nursery school, so she sees my kids as training on the job.  For some of them (my aunt, uncle and cousin), it will be the first time they've seen the new house, so it's going to be fun showing them around.  I'll post pictures in my album. 

It feels good to be looking forward to something again.  I wouldn't normally have let my guard down and decided to invite people over.  The last few months I've just wanted to be alone with my family in my house.  I'm glad it's showing signs of changing.
