I co-founded Little Jet Set in January 2007. Before launching Little Jet Set, I took a leave of absence from practicing law to raise my two children. With my children, I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, as well as other countries. Through my travel experiences, I recognized the difficulty in finding travel products to both entertain and nurture my children. In response to the void I found in the marketplace, I launched Little Jet Set to offer over 500 products to make traveling with kids easy, fun and educational.

I joined this group because not only do I have friends who are single parents but I have so much respect for parents in general. I was inspired by a dear friend who struggles to have her own life and still be a single mom. I just enjoy engaging in conversations with people and life. I'm constantly learning from others. I believe in the philosophy it takes a village to raise a child. Especially the one inside all of us. I'm here to assist in anyway I can and gain some wisdom along the way especially when I hopefully have the opportunity to be a parent. Be well.

I'm almost 40 but feel 18. I love being with my kids and my high-school sweetheart husband. We laugh a lot and spend a lot of time together as a family while also each having individual pursuits which are supported by the rest of the "home team."

I'm a clinical social worker with a sincere interest in people's "stuff." I write a blog and also work as an editor with BlogHer Ads, a job I love because it allows me to interact and connect with really interesting parents (and others, of course).
