I am a suburban working mom surrounded by stay-at-home moms, in a community that caters to them. I have a son who is in first grade, and had a daughter in September of 2007. My husband has an hour-long commute, so it sometimes feels like I am a single mom.

I am a mom on a journey. Life is good: happy healthy children. Great 10 year marriage that no one thought would last. Good career. Only problem is that I now need purpose and fulfillment in my life. Argh.

Mother, Wife, Woman, yes, that that order, although I'm working on moving the order around a little. Every once in a while, woman should be first. My granny always tells me to take care of myself, or I won't be here to take care of anyone!

I am a full-time working mom of one 9 month old girl. I work in non-profit theater, and prior to that, I was a reporter at a daily newspaper. None of the long hours I've pulled in my working life ever prepared me for motherhood, though! I am finding it a challenge to do the work-home-life balance, but so far, so good.

I started my Arbonne business as my plan B, some extra income, but within a few months it allowed me to cut back the hours at drastically. Within one year I was able to quit my 16 year accounting profession for my Arbonne business....Now I have the best of both worlds!!

I sell Avon. I have been doing this for a few months and it has been a real life saver. After giving birth to my second child, my uterus prolapsed and I ended up having to quit my job. It wasn't long before I became stir-crazy AND in need of money. For me it's been great. I'm pretty new to this area so I knew very few people when I started Avon. Selling Avon has given me the opportunity to meet people I would have never met otherwise AND make the extra money I needed to not only get by, but to do things I want to do, too. It is really flexible and easy.
The company has been around for 120 years! Talk about standing the test of time! No quotas - no inventories and it only takes $10 to start your own business. NO PRESSURE! You make it what you want it to be. All you have to do is share the books with friends and family. You also have the ability to have a webstore and sell to anyone anywhere! You can also build a team and earn up to 12% from their efforts. And you can earn a car allowance and trips and great stuff. This is a GREAT job and I just want to share it with everyone. If you think this might be something you are interested in, let me know!

My husband and I are high-school sweethearts-been 2gether for 11 years. was in college and got pregnant in my 1st year. Got a job at our local hospital. Moved from the hospital to the doctor's office. Was born and raised in Myrtle Beach as was my husband. My whole family is here and we are very tight. My son just started kindergarten this year and BROKE MY HEART!! He continues to amaze me every day. I am young so it's a little hard to find girls my age to relate to.
