I started LivingmyMoMent.com in April of this year as a way to help out mom-owned businesses during the downturn of our economy. I feel like the small businesses are always the hardest hit when times are bad and I wanted to support other moms by giving them FREE advertising. My website also has a blog, daily MoMtips, some giveaways, and I have recently started featuring one MoMbiz a week for extra exposure. I love what I do and I'm so glad that I can support MoMowned businesses.
My husband works full time and so I am able to SAH with our 17 month old daughter and get ready for #2 (scheduled to arrive in December).Flag as inappropriate Posted by livingmymoment on 17th July 2009 -
It's great to meet all of you!
I am a certified life coach, specializing in brain performance, brain learning and brain fitness. I help people release stress and overwhelm, accelerate learning and change, and improve performance through brain-based strategies.
My background is in linguistics and cognitive sciences, as well as law. I quit my law practice after my daughter was born in December 2005 to launch my own training and coaching company. I love being an entrepreneur and helping others go for their dreams.
My current focus is to develop multiple income streams for my business through internet marketing and direct sales. My direct sales/network marketing component includes essential oils, which I use in my brain-related work for stress relief, focus, cognitive performance, etc. I also affiliate with two internet marketing communities where I learn how to promote my network marketing online and also get commissions on the sale of affiliate products.Flag as inappropriate Posted by Anastasia on 21st August 2009 -

I am a single mom and full time student who was looking for a work at home opportunity that was ethical and legitimate. Something I could be proud of doing and something that would allow me to help others. I didn’t want a get rich quick scheme what I did want however was a stable and reliable business. Well, I found what I was looking for in Work at Home United.
Make a positive change in your life and contact me today at: www.workathomeunited.com/StephanieMichelleFlag as inappropriate Posted by Stephanie Michelle on 25th August 2009 -
Hi! My name is Michelle. I gave up returning to my full time job in the construction industry after having my first baby to pursue running my own business successfully!
Since having my daughter, 21 months ago, I’ve wanted to stay home full time and raise her myself!
So I went in search of a home business even though I never thought someone like me could be a stay at home mom -- I'm no doctor's wife.
What I found is the most positive experience that has enabled me to be home with her and earn an honest income! I work for myself but not by myself! I work with an a amazing team of moms just like me, who are very dedicated in helping other moms work from home and become financially independent!
Some days I work a lot, some days a little, and some days...my daughter and I go to the park or have play dates with friends and family!
Don't get me wrong -- this is no get rich quick scheme.
If you're looking to make money by just sitting and clicking, this isn't it.
This is, however, a fun, flexible business that I absolutely love! The training is free, the website is free and the support is unlimited! And the best part of all...I can work when I want and still be there for all of my daughter’s milestones!
NO SELLING, NO STOCKING/BUYING INVENTORY, NO PARTIES, NO RISK!
I urge you to take action to learn if this is the right thing for you and your family. Enter your information at:

Hi ladies,
My name is Amber and I just joined Work It, Mom. I was an admin assistant for almost 10 years before becoming a sahm after having my son. 5 and a half years and a another child later, I created "Instant Administrative Services" for small business owners needing that extra help with admin duties. I love being able to help other small business owners while building up a business that I created. I can be home with my kids when they need it, and get out of the house to meet new clients(especially when I need to...) Good luck to all the other mothers here. This seems like a great group of women!

I am launching a business that helps families find child care. It is a website and blog to get/purchase information on finding child care. Also, starting a consulting firm to help local families find child care.
Of course, I am doing this while I am on leave from my normal job, due to the birth of my new little bundle of joy. Crazy and wonderful times.
I am hoping Work it, mom! will help me find the support and courage I need to put myself out there.
