Starting line approaching-- Ack!

  I've spent some time in October drawing up a plot, thinking about characters, and worrying over the timing of everything. And researching Istanbul in the 19th century and contagious diseases...
  
  
  
  Only with 4 days left, I have an enormous pile of editing to do and am afraid I won't be able to spend as much time writing and scheming as I had planned. I'm not going to bail out, but I think I will change my topic and go with something not so serious. Still set in Istanbul, but maybe something fantasy fiction.

  why dont you just write it all out of your head and spend december researching, fact checking, and editing? the point isnt to end the month wiht a PERFECT novel
