  Should I be cautious of Angel Investors that ask for a fee to submit a business plan?
  
  Nataly or anyone know of a specific angel network they would recommend?

  Walk away from that investor immediately - legitimate angel investors NEVER ask for any type of fees. (BTW, Guy is great, but he is a tough one -- I wouldn't set your sights on him yet
  
  
  
  There are angel networks -- Golden Seeds is one focused on women. But they operate more like venture firms in that they want proof of concept, a good team in place, and a bit of revenues. If you're there, you should def reach out to them.

  I kept encountering Angel Investors/sites that would say "submit your business plan for $100.00" or something like that.
  
  I had a hunch it was not the way to go.

  My husband is founding partner in a low tech investment group, and is connected to investors in the high tech sector as well. They don't charge to see a business plan.
