That's a HUGE why!! How sad is this... when I worked as a Charge Nurse of a cardiac unit, my patients saw more of me than my kids did.... Besides, I didn't want cleaning products I KNEW were linked to cancer in my home anymore....
We just took the boys to the Atlantis in the Bahamas, and if you ladies ever get the chance to go, DO IT! We blew about $10,000 on that trip, but it was worth every penny of it!!
Life is FAR TOO SHORT not to live every day and enjoy every minute!!

Lets see my why???
I am working 40 hours a week outside my home as a CT Technologist at a trauma hospital. My kids are in daycare all that time. My husband works as a Paramedic and as a weird schedule, so he works 24 hour shifts. I would like to get home and raise my own kids, and be there when they get inot school and be able to help as a volunteer in their classes.
We have a great desire to be able to go on vacation in an exoctic area to scuba dive. A passion of ours.Flag as inappropriate Posted by Jamey on 16th August 2008 -

I understand. I couldn't afford the cost OR take the time off when I worked as a Charge Nurse..... so Tim and I make up for that now! LO!L Linda/CMAS, BS, RNFlag as inappropriate Posted by BizNurse on 18th August 2008

I can not wait to be able to make up for the lack of vacations. It will get better and I know that and my gilrs will be able to enjoy it for they will be older when that time comes.Flag as inappropriate Posted by Jamey on 18th August 2008

It is a great solution to the high gas prices.Flag as inappropriate Posted by Christine on 26th August 2008 -
The outsourcing hasn't hurt you guys Christine? Three of our nurse buddies shut down their MT/MB businesses.... Infact, I'm a RN and I couldn't make it work!!
