We just finished watching it last night. Whew, that was some movie. I know that a bunch of people would react negatively to the degree of violence and psychological stalking and all that. Javier Bardem sure deserved an Oscar for playing the ultimate creepy psychotic killer. But what really got me was the script. At times it was classic Coen humor, interspersed in a heavy, dramatic, blood-saturated plotline. It really helped make this story more palatable. And Tommy Lee Jones...what an actor. Anyone else see it? I still want to see the other Oscar contender from that year, There Will Be Blood. I'm sure that will be intense and bloody in its own way, but I expect a quality movie from DD Lewis & co. - Paula.
