  • Do you journal? If so, what do you write and where do you write it?

  • Yes, I journal. I usually have a format of what I think about and then write about it. I write about positive affirmations, my goals, what it would be like to enjoy the completion of my goals, what I will do that day, and how grateful I am to enjoy the day with my son. And other revelations I get through the day. I try to journal twice, once in the morn, before too much time gets away, and the other time, right before I go to sleep, so I can review how my day went and what I will do the next day.

I tried not journalling when I didn't have a journal book, and my days were not nearly as productive or focused.

  • I blog which is not nearly the same thing...since you have to think about your audience, but it's a creative outlet that involves talking about my life...so it sorta counts. I kept a somewhat extensive journal when I was in high school, but that's about it.

Francesca, your journal practice sounds amazing...I wish that I did something similar.

  • I've been journaling since I was a teenager. It really helps me process things.

I also keep journals for my children. When they were babies I would write down cute things they did during the day. Now that they are older I can write about proud moments and my wonder at who they are becoming.
