Leslie Morgan Steiner wrote Mommy Wars, a best-selling and controversial book filled with essays by stay-at-home and working moms, talking about their lives, choices, and struggles. Leslie now writes a great blog for the Washington Post called On Balance. She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and three young children. Leslie has done a lot of research into the issues - personal, societal, professional - facing moms today and she highlights a few of her findings in this interview. She also offers great perpectives, supported by her research, for moms looking to get back into their careers after taking time off to take care of their kids.
