Make sure you have one visit per month that involves connecting with an artist in any of the fields: music, theatre, painting, photography, fashion, hair styling.
It helps you escape your own world, recharges and lifts your spirit, therefore in return, you become a more inspired person in your own family and business daily routine. Submitted by Zoica 1

My life saver is a marker board in the kitchen. Everything goes on there. If you want to go somewhere, or need to go to a meeting or your work schedule changes from week to week .........It has to be written on the board or you are not allowed to go. No one can come home at dinner and say I have to be at **** at 7pm. If it is not on the board you cannot go.

Buy greeting cards in bulk! Make one main trip per year and buy a birthday card for each family member & close friend, plus a couple new baby, sympathy, get well cards. Add 3 or 4 thank you cards. Last but not least, get a few blank cards, too. Store them in a special file folder or storage container near your address book.

Traveling for business? Take digital pictures of your packed luggage (open and closed), leave the images on your camera, leave a copy at home (or on your computer), and put the prints with your passport and tickets. If your bag is lost or any item is missing, you have picture-perfect evidence to show officials -- and may even get your stuff back.

This summer snack satisfies the sweet tooth of any little one who is asking for a sugar hit -- but doesn't provoke the Candy Crazies. Puree a few skinned, fresh peaches with some lemon juice and a hint of sugar and pour thick juice into cookie cutter moulds on a flat pan. Place in freezer for two hours and voila - delicious peach popsicles.

If you're having problems with a child who wets the bed, making "bed lasagna" can help. Make up the bed with layers of waterproof crib sheets and regular fitted sheets, about three of each, with the regular blankets on top. That way, if there was an accident at night, all you have to do was pull off the wet sheet and pad and there is a dry set already on the bed, ready for sleeping.

When at the park or at the mall where my kids could possible get seperated from me... I used to safety pin my business card to the back of their shirts. Just in case we were seperated, I could be contacted instantly. Also, my kids were taught to always ask a lady that looks like a "Mommy" for help... I thought it would increase the odds that my kids would be returned safely. Thank goodness we never had to test my theory.
