I seem to always have an endlesss to-do list so anything that will allow me to save time, reduce stress and the amount things I have to-do is important to me. Recently, I saw an ad for online grocery shopping. I peaked my interest because going to the grocery store is time consuming. Then, you have to deal with your screaming child and other people's screaming child. Also, let''s not forget the long lines to check out. I use online grocery shopping because they deliver and you can still use manufacturer and store coupons. I saved time and was less aggrevated because I ordered my groceries from the comfort of my home and the groceries were delivered to my door.”

Combine fitness and family time: instead of trying to squeeze in a trip to the gym after the kids go to bed and before I collapse, we spend our evenings outside doing something active. We walk in the park, play ball, play tag, whatever... It's family time for Dad & kids, it's relaxing (no mess in the house), it gets the kids ready for bed, and it gets us burning calories. Plus our kids are learning that it's more fun to be active & playing than to be sitting in front of the tv.

I have two diaper bags: one is always in the car, packed with the essentials, and one is always at the ready in the kids' room. When I use up the stuff in the car-bag, I switch the bags. The bag that's ready & waiting inside goes in the car, and Car-bag goes inside for a refill, where it waits until needed.

I bought one of those 3 part laundry sorters from Target. I taught my 9 yr old how to sort the laundry and she watches as my 2 yr old puts the clothes in the washer. They think it's fun and it's one less thing I have to do.

I set a kitchen timer for my 9 year old. She has 10-15 minutes for each part of her morning routine (getting dressed, eating breakfast, etc). It helps her know if she's moving too slow and it's fun for her to try and beat the clock.

I run a medium load of washing every morning and put it in dry as I get out to work. I fold it in the evening. This way my loads are smaller and are much easier than running big loads in the weekend. Also we do not have to listen to the dryer noise!

I've started heading to the local park on my lunchbreak. Eating while I sit in the sunshine and watch the ducks swimming is so much more relaxing than staying at work to eat!

Each day when I get home from work, I immediately take care of all the details that need to be dispensed with for the next day. I check my son's homework, make his lunch for the next day and put it in the refrigerator, make sure my daughter's bag is packed for daycare, and make sure my bag is packed for work the next day. Once that's out of the way, I can relax, cook dinner with my son, and enjoy the time with my family without worrying about what needs to be done for the next day.

I was in a car accident a while ago, and I used my cell phone to snap pictures of the scene, including close-ups of the damage, both cars' license plates, and the position of the vehicles in the road. It was a lifesaver when it came to filing the claim with my insurance company, as the other driver got his friends to move his vehicle out of the area and remove some of the damaged parts of his car within aabout 30 minutes, leaving only the pictures on my camera as proof that he was at fault!
