  • Wake up earlier. Keep one calendar with all of your appointments - work and family. Schedule "mom time" into the calendar and ask that your spouse cover for you during that time.

  • I finally found a use for all of those little make up bags that you get free with purchase. I fill them with the travel sized toiletries that we get at the hotels we've stayed at. I make sure the bag has everything we need so that when we travel, all I have to do is grab the bag and drop it in the suitcase. It keeps packing toiletries less time consuming, keeps all of our toiletries in one place so we're not digging out each item from the suicase when we get there and also keeps the sink area at the hotel much neater because we just keep it all in a bag.

  • We found a 5-piece ottoman set that open up into little storage bins at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They are amazing! We have them in the living room and can fit a million toys in them. They are like stylish, adult looking toy boxes that we can hide everything in and relax on!

  • Whenever I recieve mailorder items in a bag, I turn the bag inside out to return it. It is the correct size and it has my address on the inside. No more wrapping and trying to find packaging to return.

  • I keep a list of all the grocery I have in my fridge fixed on the fridge door. This way no food item is left forgotten and gets spoiled before it can be used. also helps me plan meals in advance. As i dont have to prod in the fridge to make sure I have all the items needed to make a particular dish. Also ..... helps me schedule my grocery shopping such that I not caught without anything to cook or with too much inventory!! The icing on the cake .... I have been able to cut about 80$ of my grocery bill. hope it helps.

  • I get up at 4:15am and head to the gym before work. I know it sounds early but I also couldn't imagine working out after supper.

  • I hate matching socks. Whites are my least favorite load of laundry so I created a sock matching game. My two sons race to see who can match the most pairs. They have fun and the socks are matched!! Win-win!!
