  • Toenail polish was my lifesaver after my second daughter was born six months ago. As simple as it sounds, toenail polish made me feel like a normal person and realize that, after three months of no sleep and a Cesarean scar, my life WOULD get better. I would once again be able to stay up late and watch NCIS ;) www.themamalady.com

  • My favorite way to destress is to inhale, exhale and remember that I need time for me. You need to take care of YOU! No one else will.

  • Honestly? I make use of the downtime in between tasks. I check email while the pasta water boils, I put makeup on in the car - ONLY at stoplights, and I put off answering texts or emails for when I'm waiting in line at the bank. But I also prioritize a little "moment of peace" time, if I only have a second. I just close my eyes and breathe till the toaster oven dings.

  • Always keep a business card in an easy-to-find place in your purse or laptop bag; slip another one into your coat or jacket pocket. If you accidentally leave these things behind while you're out and about -- or if someone takes yours by mistake -- it'll be easier for someone to return them to you!
