  • Just to clarify on the previous post on the prepare then share emergency supplies. By getting a membership to receive it all at wholesale. You are not obligated to sale a thing. There is just incentives if you share this information at 50.00 a person. This is just a way to help individuals, families, and communities get prepared for the unexpected at a wholesale cost. I just wanted to explain in the post below some of the incentives they have if you share the information.... It's an amazing concept for a great cause.

  • Have you ever felt like someone just pressed the Fast-forward button on your day and before you know it its ten o'clock and time for bed, yet I feel like I accomplished nothing. I love to organize and with working Part Time outside of the home and FULL-TIME at home with my business, 2 children and my wonderful Husband, I really rely on a schedule and many time management tips to keep my sanity (ok, so some of you think I am already insane, I won’t argue with that) but at least I am organized. I found online scheduling software that i can sync with my husband, all of my employees across the country all on one calendar. It’s called CalendarCruncher.com, and I don’t know what I did before this online scheduler. This has worked for me to keep my chaos organized. What do you busy moms use or what other insights do you have?

  • my favorite stress reducer is either cooking or working out... depending on the day ive had! on the HORRIBLE days, i can turn on my ipod & hit the gym to "run away" and on the less stressful days, getting in my kitchen & cooking is a place i can go & no one bothers me

  • One of the things I do when I get home from work is give the kids a snack and go into my bedroom for about a half hour and relax. I do this to give my mind a break and refocus before I tackle house chores, cooking, etc. Once I feel rejuventated I can do more than if I came home with frayed nerves.

  • Now that airlines charge so much extra for checking your luggage (as much as $120 per suitcase, roundtrip, on some carriers!) I find it easier and cheaper to ship some of my essentials to my destination, especially if I'm traveling around the holidays. It takes a bit of extra planning, but it's definitely worth it.

  • I used to run home, change and get right into the family business of dinner and cleaning. Now I go to my bedroom change and workout. I feel much more relaxed when I emerge from my bedroom

  • The toy room! I was having such a meltdown every time I would sit down to read or watch TV and the toys were everywhere. Finally, we made the front room (kind of out of sight to all else) just the playroom and reinforced that it was where all the toys must stay. Now out in the sitting room, I can read and watch TV and never have to face that mess with such dread again.
