I am a mother of 2, although my older son lives with his dad. My baby is 6 months old, and I went back to work at 8 weeks. My hubby is a sahd, which works great in some ways, but not so great in others. Essentially, when I am at home, I am on baby duty. In other words....I never get time off, and I am EXHAUSTED. But, it really is worth it. I hope that this group will allow me to meet others in similar situations, give me a chance to vent, etc.
I currently live in the UK and moved from South Africa, Ciaran is our first baby and is superb. Following 8 weeks in the hospital as the baby had open heart surgery, i am back at work full time and trying to keep it all together. Love being a mom, whilst trying to get a fab career
Hello! I am a new mom and a new working mom! I work full time outside of the home. I would love to network with other working moms for support and ideas.
I own my own business helping people make career decisions that fit who they are and what they want. This way I get to do really satisfying work and see my kids a lot, too. What a deal!
As the mother of two, I am busy, busy just like every mom.
In addition to working fulltime, I recently self-published a book titled From Colic to Career which I wrote while on maternity leave in 2006.
I hope to meet new moms through this website and gain a following of my book.
Cheers to all Moms!
